Dr. Jeremiah Burnett
Dr. Jeremiah Burnett and his family have been members of the Mtn. Home community since 2007. Upon completion of veterinary school at Washington State University, he started practicing large and small animal medicine at Knight Vet Clinic. Along with Dr. Van Orden, Dr. Burnett became a business partner at this diverse clinic. Dr. Burnett has extensive experience in bovine medicine and travels from the Owyhees to the Trinities working with ranchers. When Dr. Burnett isn’t out on the ranch with cows and horses he is in the clinic with cats and dogs. Big or small he cares for them all!
Dr. Chase Van Orden
Dr. Chase Van Orden moved to Mtn. Home in 2007 after completing veterinary school at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Soon after joining the practice, Dr. Van Orden became a business partner. He has since dedicated his efforts to his growing family and animal medicine in Mtn. Home. Dr. Van Orden is a classic example of a mixed-practice veterinarian. His skill set includes but is not limited to: small animal orthopedics and soft tissue surgery, large animal medicine, equine health management, and comprehensive preventative care for all species.
Dr. Courtney (Bennett) Briscoe
Dr. Courtney (Bennett) Briscoe grew up in Grand View, Idaho. She attended Utah State University for her bachelor’s degree in Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences and for half of her veterinary degree. During her time at Utah State, she met her husband, Jake. Go Aggies! Together, they moved north so she could finish her DVM at Washington State University in the WIMU regional program. Dr. Briscoe loves both small and large animal medicine, especially bovine medicine, small animal surgery, and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys helping on her family’s farm and ranch, running, yoga, backpacking, dirt biking, and snowmobiling.
